The Line — Active
With one end of the line passive the other end is free to rotate and describe a circle. The circle is perhaps the purest, most profound and the most common symbol in existence. With the probably billions of stars, planets, moons and galaxies full of the same, the circle or sphere is well represented in the physical universe.
The point is first. This is the beginning. You could think of it as the or Bindi. This is the Sanskrit term meaning "point" or "dot". It is used as a small ornamental, devotional and/or mystical dot that is cosmetically applied or affixed to the forehead.
Think of a point as being without dimension or any particular size. It is a symbol. It remains so until it/he/she moves out into space. It could be the centre of the universe.

Make a round circle and you will have the Stone of The Philosophers.
The line is the first dimension. It arrives when the point divides into two principles. These being active and passive. The point has an idea and decides to move out into space in some direction.
Separation occurs and the line comes into being. This line could go on for ever. It need not have a thickness as it is a principle or archetype...this is twoness.

Sacred Geometry is the blueprint of Creation and the genesis of all form. It is an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of Creation organizes itself. On every scale, every natural pattern of growth or movement conforms inevitably to one or more geometric shapes.
As you enter the world of Sacred Geometry you begin to see as never before the wonderfully patterned beauty of Creation. The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snow flakes, pine cones, flower petals, diamond crystals, the branching of trees, a nautilus shell, the star we spin around, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms as we know them emerge out of timeless geometric codes. Viewing and contemplating these codes allow us to gaze directly at the lines on the face of deep wisdom and offers up a glimpse into the inner workings of the Universal Mind and the Universe itself.
The ancients believed that the experience of Sacred Geometry was essential to the education of the soul. They knew that these patterns and codes were symbolic of our own inner realm and the subtle structure of awareness. To them the “sacred” had particular significance involving consciousness and the profound mystery of awareness the ultimate sacred wonder. Sacred Geometry takes on another whole level of significance when grounded in the experience of self-awareness.

No 3. Once the point becomes active it can form a triangle by moving an equal distance from the point of origin or genesis.
The triangle is the simplest geometric shape, and also the first purely theological symbol.
To the ancient Pythagoreans, the triangle was, as the first complete polygon, the womb of number and the essence of stability.
No 4. The number of order in the universe is 4—the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water; the four seasons; the four points of the compass; the four phases of the Moon (new, half-moon waxing, full, half-moon waning).
The Four Nobel Truths epitomize Buddhism. To the Pythagoreans 4 was the source of the tetractys 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10, the most perfect number.
No 5. Symbolizes human life and—in the Platonic and Pythagorean traditions—marriage, as the sum of the female 2 and the male 3. The Pythagoreans discovered the five regular solids now known as the Platonic Solids.
The number 5 is intrinsically related to Phi and the Fibonacci series.
