Welcome
bungeroosh is not a person. It is an ancient method of wall construction and it is the name of this web-gallery and the name of my art business.
My name is Stephen Meakin or Sem and I make Integral Artworks.
Have a look in the gallery pages.
I like the word bungeroosh so it is the host name for this website and not a flip-flop manufacturer as some bright spark suggested. It’s a place where I can show my paintings and designs to a wider audience and keep the world informed of my exploits.

Sunrise festival labyrinth. The folks at Sunrise Celebration have commissioned me to design and build a labyrinth for this years festival. The whole festival is organised around a diagram of an ideal city, nation or paradise on earth as formulated by John Mitchell in his book “at the centre of the world”. The final design was created on site in May but the festival was cancelled due to terrible weather.
Thought for your moment
"Someday after mastering winds, waves, tides and gravity, we shall harness the energies of love. And then, for the second time in the history of the world, man will discover fire.”

peace circle. I have been asked by Stuart Mason of the notorious Antiquarian Society to oversee the geomancy for this “out of the ordinary” project. The rotation (below) was created using the geometry of a flattened “b” type astronomical calendar stone circle. We have already made accurate measurements for the alignment of the equinox and solstice sun rise stone positions and also marked the pole star. Eventually there will be standing stones to replace the tree trunks at this stunning Sussex landmark site in the valley of the long man of Wilmington. The stone circle project has been dedicated to peace and will be a place of learning, discussion and debate.
